Q. Why use cultured marble in my bathroom?

A. Cultured marble is made up of crushed rock or marble mixed with polyester resin with a gelcoated surface that is virtually impervious to stains & totaly water resistant forming a low maintenance product. Bath & shower walls have a minimum number of seams diminishing leakage & allergy causing mould & mildew problems. Compared to tile installation times are significantly reduced.


Q. Can I get a shower base to fit into an awkward corner in my bathroom?

A. Yes we can make custom shower bases to fit any shape.


Q. Is cultured marble easy to install?

A. Cultured marble is not too difficult for someone who is good at D.I.Y. We will offer advice or see the installation instructions on this site.


Q. Why is cultured marble better than tile for showers?

A. Cultured marble is sealed with 100% mould resistant silicone which remains flexible & will not discolour like grout. Cultured marble remains at room temperature & is always warm to touch.


Q. How does the price of cultured marble compare to natural marble or granite?

A. Because cultured marble is a product made on a mould cost is considerably reduced compared to the natural stone & being 4 times the tensile strength thinner parts can be made as in shower panels reducing weight & cost.
